If you saw the blog post entitled "Absolute Control", you'll see we came up with an interesting idea of using the analog stick to drive in a "compass" direction (up is North) rather than relative to the robot (up is Forward).
There's nothing wrong with the idea. We still think it's got merit and worth testing. But then we had a software issue with some of the APIs we've been using.
